We are so excited to invite you to join us in the City of Brotherly Love, a city full of history, delicious food, charismatic people and the -urb- to our new suburban life. We both share a love for the water, having access to a wide selection of food and beverages, access to live music, and the centuries-old architecture you will find in the neighborhood where we will be celebrating together. We can’t wait!
The Philadelphia airport is a 15 minute drive to Hilton Penn’s Landing and the Holiday Inn Penn’s Landing. While there are rental cars available, we encourage you to consider taking a Lyft, Uber, or taxi to the hotel, as resources are readily available from that location, and you’re likely to spend far more just on parking than you would on a dozen Uber rides.
United, American, and Delta all fly in and out of PHL on a regular basis. Warning that the Frontier Airlines rate of severe delays is extraordinarily high out of PHL. Should you prefer a similar airline, please check Avelo in and out of Wilmington, DE (35 miles from the hotel) or Allegiant out of Allentown (68 miles from the hotel) - or prepare for the large delays that accompany Frontier.
While Center City and other neighborhoods in Philly are worth exploring, we recommend staying within a half mile of the venue in order to most easily be positioned to access the events around the wedding.
If you are not in Penn’s Landing or Old City/ Historic Philadelphia you’re probably a bit further away than you want to be.
We have reserved two hotel blocks within easy access to the venue, Penn's Landing waterfront activities, and the restaurants and museums in Old City. Also worth considering - Airbnb and Vrbo options. If you are traveling with a group, you may find this to be a preferable, and/or more economical experience. Again, make sure you’re within a half mile of the venue/ Hilton Penn’s Landing, ideally in Old City, the Historic District, or Penn's Landing.
Not every neighborhood in Philly is the safest, or as convenient to our activities as they appear on maps, so we recommend staying close.
This Hilton hotel is a 4 minute walk to the wedding venue, directly on the waterfront. Without crossing a street youll have immediate access to the activities of Penn's landing, Seaport Museum and more - as well as the indoor pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant, river views, and other amenities of the hotel.
If you choose to cross the street, you will be within a 5-10 minute walk of dozens of Old City restaurants as well as a number of historic Philadelphia landmarks like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
Info on how to book to the block will be available by March 12. To take advantage of room block pricing, you will need to book by June 15th as any unused rooms will be released after that point.
